Doris J. Alexander Boyle
Surrounded by her loving daughters, son, daughter-in-law and family, our precious mother passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 31. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 2, from 5 PM until 9 PM at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 10:30 AM at Eagle Heights Church in Orange, with the Rev. Bob Vermillion officiating. Burial will follow at 1 PM at Kirbyville Cemetery in Kirbyville.
She was 84 years of age. Born in Rogersville, AL. on July 19, 1926, she was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. F. (Big Momma, Big Daddy) Alexander. She grew up in the Mississippi Delta and graduated from high school in Inverness, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse E. Boyle; brothers Elree, Howard and Jack, and son-in-law, Ron Gervais.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy and Ronnie Dunbar, Becky and Bubba Mazzola; Sandra and Dale Morris; Judy Gervais; Betty Trusty/Dawn Kirchofer; son, Brady and Janie Trusty; and stepson, Lewis and Joan Boyle.
She has 13 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Margaret Edwards; Barbara Augustine; and Evelyn and Art Hughes; brothers, Charles and Patricia Alexander and Jim and Rhonda Alexander.
Our sweet Mother, Maw Maw, Sister and Aunt was our rock. She was so loved by all of her family and friends who loved her sweet spirit and kindness to all. She was such a caring and giving person; willing to help anyone who asked of her. Mom enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. As a member of the Garden Club, she loved working in her vegetable and flower gardens. She always had a beautiful yard. Mom also was an amateur artist who enjoyed painting in her younger years. She and Jesse lived at Rayburn County where they also enjoyed golfing and entertaining friends and family. She attended Eagle Heights Church of Orange for 12 years.
Pallbearers will be Jason Trusty, Justin Trusty, Kyle Harrison, James Dunbar, Sean Scott, Bradley Choate, Tom Loyd and Damon Childress. Honorary pallbearers will be her son-in-laws and brother-in-law, Art Hughes.

The family would like to thank the compassionate group of nurses and aids from Harbor Hospice and St. Mary’s Hospital staff for the loving care they gave our mother.
