Flop Cake

This has been a favorite cake of mine for years. So simple and easy to do besides being great to the taste.

You cook it in your oblong two inch deep old stand by.

2 cups of flour

2 cups of crushed pineapple (do not drain)

1 1/2 cups of sugar

1 tsp. of baking soda

Leave it in the pan and punch holes in it all over with a round object like a pencil.

Topping:

1 small can of evaporated milk

1 stick oleo

1 1/2 cups of sugar

1 cup of coconut

1 tsp. of vanilla

Boil for three minutes, pour over cake.

Simple, but Gooder’n Syrup. Von.
