As part of their summer language program, Lamar University’s department of speech and hearing sciences is enrolling children for its annual summer League Enrichment Program.

The program is for children with language delay, autism or other speech needs, and accepts children from preschool age, through high school students.

The program focuses on language, literacy and social interaction. The sessions are offered in group settings of two or three children or adolescents, and every child will have an individual clinician assigned to them.

Participants can start the four-week program on June 6, and attend classes Mondays and Wednesdays, or July 5, and meet Tuesdays and Thursdays. The registration deadline is May 27 and the fee is $125.

Call (409) 880-8171 to register or for more information.
