Harley McKenzie Frazier
Harley McKenzie Frazier, 7, of Starks, passed away Thursday, April 28, at her residence.
Services to celebrate her life will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 2, in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange with the Rev. Chris DuBose, officiating. Interment will follow services in the Doyle Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana . A gathering of family and friends for a time of reflection will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Born on Dec. 23, 2003 in Sulphur, La. to her parents, Louis Edward Frazier, Jr. and Destiny Nicole (Buxton) Frazier, Harley lived all of her life in Starks. Her life was very short; however she lived it to the fullest. She was big hearted, loved everyone and was a blessing to all who knew her. Harley enjoyed being in the outdoors, riding four wheelers, swimming, camping with her Nana and her Poppa and gardening with her father. Harley will be remembered as the “sprinkle princess” by her family, because she enjoyed eating the sprinkles that normally went on cakes and cookies and she also loved music.
Greeting Harley at heaven’s gate and preceding her in death are her maternal great grandfather, Buck Buxton; great uncle, Jay Buxton; paternal great grandparents, Richard and Bobbie Kelley; great uncle, George Kelley and paternal great grandfather, George “Boshie” Frazier.
Those who will most cherish her memory are her parents, Louis and Destiny Frazier of Starks; her bother, Tyler Thane Buxton of Starks; her maternal grandparents, Lester and Theresa Buxton of Starks; her paternal grandparents, Aaron and Anaise “Linnie” Prudhomme of DeQuincy; her maternal great grandmother, Phyllis Buxton of Starks; maternal great grandparents, Jim and Sue Phillips of Orange; her paternal great grandmother, Mabel Frazier of DeQuincy; her aunt, Vanessa Ecconomou and husband, Tom of Worchestor, Massachusetts; her uncles, Joseph Buxton and wife, Shannon of DeQuincy, Jonathan Frazier and wife, Heather of Lumberton and William Frazier and wife, Kazoua of St. Paul, Minn. Harley is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Prudhomme, William Frazier, Jonathan Frazier, Chris Buxton, Hunter Brister and Joseph Buxton. Service a honorary pallbearer will be Tyler Thane Buxton.
