‘Baby sister’ Allison Angelle to become Seahawk
BRIDGE CITY- ‘Baby sister’ Allison Angelle ceremoniously signed a letter of intent to play softball for the LSC-PA Seahawks. The Bridge City Lady Cardinal senior will be following in the footsteps of sisters Lauren and Jenna who became Seahawks in 2008.
Allison is the youngest daughter of Lee and Connie Angelle. Her big brother, Kevin Angelle, also pitched for Lamar after pitching in two back-to-back state baseball tournaments for Bridge City. The Angelles are a baseball and softball family of respected notoriety here.
Allison, who began playing for the Lady Cards as a freshman once shared the diamond with her two older sisters becoming a dominate force in the Bridge City infield. With the graduation of Lauren and Jenna, Allison would assist the Lady Cardinals in two Dist. 21-3A Championships. Her Lady Cardinal career ended in the Region III quarterfinal round of the state softball playoffs this season after the team went 10-0 going undefeated in district and 13-7-1 overall.
Allison was joined by family, teammates, coaches and fans at the Bridge City High School library on Wednesday to do the honors.
