Bridge City High School cheerleaders Lari Navarro, Whitney Leblanc, Sydnee Granger and Bailey Moore were chosen to attend Cheer Hawaii USA with 90 other girls from across the United States this summer.

While attending this prestigious cheer camp, they learned cheers, chants, dances, collegiate stunts, and most of all leadership skills. As they worked hard to prepare their teams for showcase day Sydnee and Bailey were selected as team leaders of their groups.

Whitney Leblanc placed second in the jump contest. On showcase day Bailey Moore was selected out of all attendees as Cheer Hawaii’s “Best All Around” cheerleader of the camp.

This camp is designed to prepare cheerleaders to cheer at the collegiate level and learn to build team unity within the 10 day period. They also had the opportunity to tour Pearl Harbor, The Polynesian Center, The University of Hawaii, and visit many famous beaches such as Waikiki, North Shore and Kailua.
