Christine Eve (Johnson) Foster, 66, of Mauriceville passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13.

She was a native and life long resident of Orange; born Dec. 24, 1944 to parents Christopher and Ozia (Bland) Frillou.

She was a member of Pinehurst Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed the outdoors going fishing, hunting, crabbing or just being outdoors. Christine was a loving mother, sister, world greatest grandmother and great grandmother and friend; who will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Frillou; husband, Willy James Johnson.

She is survived by her daughters, Makayla Khalid and husband, Jeff Cleven of Mauriceville, Romano Lozano and husband, Nacho Vela of West Orange; son, James Johnson of Mauriceville; sisters, May Kay Weston of Orange, Frances Daniels of Houston, Ellen Tyson of Dry Creek, LA, Ruthae Frillou of Starks; brother, Christopher Frillou Jr. of Orange.

Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Aubrey Johnson, Kendall Potts, Kayla Johnson, El Fego Lozano, Isaac Khalid, James Johnson Jr. Hannah Burnitt, Kristi Hooper, Kandice Bacon, Crystal Lynn; great grandchildren, Zoe Monk, Alexis Hooper, Jayden Burnitt and Koria Kristine Potts.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 16, at 10:00 am at Bland Cemetery in Orange, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.
