West Orange to hold annual Holiday Festival
The City of West Orange will be celebrating its 12th annual Holiday in the Park festival Saturday, Nov. 5, beginning at 10:00 am., and continuing until dusk. The festivities will be held next door to the West Orange City Hall, located on Western Ave.
Admittance to the festival is free, and has something to offer everybody. A variety of vendors will be on hand to sell items such as food, desserts, jewelry, toys, holiday items and many other items.
A children’s area will feature a Moonwalk and supervised kid’s crafts. Both will be offered at no charge.
Local entertainment will be performing throughout the day in the gazebo, located at the center of the plaza, and Master of Ceremonies will be Shon Branham.
Scheduled to perform at the gazebo are the officers of the Bridge City Middle School pep squad; West Orange-Stark Elementary School choir; Bridge City Elementary School choir; Calvary Baptist Church choir; Tara Pelfrey; Chelsey Chaffin; Brianne Chaffin and Tiger Rocks Martial Arts.

In conjunction with the festival, a Hope for Health 5K Run/Walk and Fitness Expo will be held in West Orange. The event will begin with a presentation by Helen Phillips, Season 7 Biggest Loser winner.
