BCCC names Employee, Business of the Month
The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce presented Wilma Horner of Re/Max Platinum as Employee of the Month at the November 8, 2011 Networking coffee hosted by Bridge City State Bank located at 701 W. Roundbunch in Bridge City.
Wilma, a Realtor since 2004, loves to help house hunters find that perfect home. She has a community spirit that truly cares about Bridge City and the surrounding communities and does her very best to make Bridge City a great place to live.
When Wilma was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2011 her thoughts included concern for her family and her other real estate agents.
Even through treatments she continues to be an inspiration to others by providing excellence in her job and by supporting other businesses by attending chamber ribbon cuttings. Wilma is described as a wonderful person, employer and business owner to have living and working in Bridge City.
Wilma recently opened her new location of Re/Max Platinum at 315 Texas Avenue in Bridge City. Her great and caring office staff can be reached at (409) 738-3000 or her cell number at (409) 656-3716. The website address is www.wilmahornerhomes.com.
Wilma Horner received a certificate honoring her as the November Employee of the Month and gift certificates to The Record Newspaper, Bette’s Gift Shop, Luv Lingerie, Dupuis Tire and Service Center, Sonic Drive-In, Total Impressions Salon, Peggy’s on the Bayou, Trendz, Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Bridge City, and David Self Ford.
A long time “staple” of the community, COS Printing received the Business of the Month for November at the Bridge City Chamber’s monthly networking coffee on Nov. 8, held at Bridge City State Bank.
COS Printing has been a household name for many years within the Bridge City community beginning in 1975 with Mr. Bill Smith at the helm. Mr. Smith’s efficient grandson, Eric Andrus now runs the business.
COS Printing can do graduation and wedding invitations, along with other standard printing, but they also have specialty items.
Eric has expanded the business to now include hats, shirts, puzzles, clocks and many more items. He can also do memorials for your precious memories from pictures to memorials for the brave and fallen such as the memorial he did for the family of the West Orange football player Reggie Garrett.
Not only does COS Printing provide a place for your printable items, but they have a knowledgeable and friendly staff to help put that personal touch on whatever you may need. Now that the holidays are upon us, Eric and the staff would like to personally invite you to visit their business and see some of their Christmas gifts such as serving trays and more for gift giving.
COS Printing’s phone number is (409) 735-2554 and they also can be found on FaceBook. COS Printing was presented with the Business of the Month Award Certificate, a free VIP pass to Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Bridge City and an oil change from David Self Ford.
