The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Nancy Martin Fezia of Orange will be Friday, Nov. 25, during Memorial Services at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Olive Baptist Church.

The Rev. Ronnie A.E. Crockett, Sr. is the pastor. The Rev. C.W. Crawford, pastor of the Mount Zion Baptist Church will officiate.

Services are under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Nancy Martin Fezia, former Executive Director of the Orange County Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse (OCADA) passed away in the presence of her children on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at The M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Born in Orange, on June 3, 1947, Nancy attended Emma H. Wallace High School. Graduating in the Class of 65, she was drum majorette and a member of the debate team.

Nancy worked as a model, in banking and in real estate. However, her most enduring legacy is that of Chemical Dependency Counselor. She helped hundreds of people in this career that she loved. She will always be remembered for her deep compassion for those struggling with alcohol and chemical dependency.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tammie (Hadnot) Orebo (Chris), Kinaya (Small) Ulbrich (John ), three grandchildren, one great grandchild, her beloved Aunt Georgia Howard and family, Perry Polk, Charlene Murray, Warren, Gerald, and Elizabeth (Howard) Mathes; and several cousins, all of Staten Island, NY.
