Orange man injured in IH-10 accident
An Orange man was injured in an accident early Tuesday morning when he lost control of the truck he was driving, and hit a roadside sign near the FM 1442 exit in Orange County.
Police say 55 year old Willie Taylor was driving at an unsafe speed when he lost control of the truck, and it began to spin before running into the side an 18-wheeler, which was driven by 54 year old Jeffrey Washington of Houston.
Taylor was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, and was listed in stable condition. Washington was uninjured in the crash.
According to police, Taylor was issued a citation for driving at an unsafe speed.
