BCI students recycle to help save the planet
Bridge City Intermediate School students have been involved in a recycling project to help the planet and people in Africa. Mrs. Dillon’s fifth grade science classes have flattened, folded, cut, looped together, and rolled up over 4,000 plastic bags.
These “plarn” balls will be crocheted by a local MOPS group into 4’ x 6’ bed mats and then sent to Africa. The were excited because they volunteering their time just to help other people.
