Louisiana man arrested for possession, outstanding warrant
A Vinton, La. Man was arrested in Orange Wednesday, Feb. 22, after police responded to a call in the 600 block of 13th St. regarding a disturbance.
Police say the man, who was identified as Corey Dale Livingston, 24, was knocking on the outside of his aunt’s door, causing a disturbance.
Before arrival on the scene, Officer Michael Roush was advised through dispatch that there was a warrant out of Orange County for Livingston for public intoxication. Upon arrival at 5:07 am, Officer Roush met with Livingston, and immediately took him into custody for the warrant.
Upon searching Livingston for weapons, Officer Roush removed a plastic bag from Livingston’s pants pocket that contained a green leafy substance that smelled of marijuana.
Livingston was advised he was also being placed into custody for possession of marijuana, and he was transported to the Orange County Jail for booking.
