WO-S Business Professionals advance to state
Members of the West Orange-Stark High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) will compete in the State BPA Contest in March.
WO-S students qualified for the state event by placing second or higher in individual events at the Area 5, Region 1 Regional Leadership Conference at Central Heights High School in Nacogdoches.
Advancing to state are MyQuesha Davis, 2nd place, Economic Research Project; and Casey Chapman, 2nd place, Prepared Speech.
The Computer Animation Team of Roman Sandacz and Raven Pard also placed second to earn state advancement.
Also placing at the regional event were:
Morgan Neal, 3rd place, Extemporaneous Speaking;
LaTasha Richard, 4th place, Medical Office Procedures;
Amina Flore, 6th place, Keyboarding Production;
And the Video Production Team of LaTasha Richard, Danielle LeDay, Tristan McDonald, and MyQuesha Davis which placed 4th.
Casey Chapman placed 5th in the Administrative Support Concepts and Information Technology Concepts open events.
