Pinehurst Police Beat
Officers from the Pinehurst Police Department responded to the following calls between Feb. 22, and March 23:
Feb. 22, a burglary of a habitation was reported in the 4000 block of Starling.
Feb. 24, an assault was reported after officers responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up call in the 3400 block of Raven.
Feb. 25, a black male identified as Damon Rachard Lewis, 20 years of age, was arrested in the 1400 block of Strickland Dr. after he was found to have outstanding warrants for unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of marijuana.
Feb. 25, an accidental gunshot wound was reported in the 2500 block of 41st St. A 32 year-old white male accidentally shot himself in the index finger of his right hand.
Feb. 27, the theft of a credit card from a vehicle was reported to have occurred at a residence in the 2100 block of 40th St.
Feb. 28, a 56 year-old white female identified as Kristie Domingue was arrested for outstanding West Orange Municipal Court warrants following a traffic stop in the 3600 block of Martin St.
March 1, a 32 year-old black male identified as Terrance Levar Mitchell was arrested for an outstanding parole warrant at the Orange Parole Office located at 851 Dal Sasso Drive.
March 2, a 43 year-old white male identified as Jerome Anton Pryber was arrested for public intoxication following a disturbance at a trailer park located at 3609 W. Park.
March 6, officers responded to the West Orange Elementary School located in the 2500 block of MLK Jr. Dr. in reference to pornography found on a cellular phone that had been confiscated from a student.
March 7, a report of criminal Mischief was reported at a beauty supply store located in the 2200 block of Macarthur Dr. after an irate customer damaged a picture frame and knocked over a jewlery display case and shoe display after being refused a refund. Charges are pending through the Pinehurst Municipal Court.
March 9, three subjects were arrested for possession of marijuana on Lexington Dr. in Pinehurst after their car was spotted in a suspicious area near the water treatment plant. Kendra Swanson, a 24 year-old white female, Andrew Scott Swanson, a 17 year-old white male and Jonathan Navarro, a 21 year-old white male were all arrested for possession of marihuana while another white male, Tommy Gene Lummus, 23 years of age was arrested for public intoxication.
March 10, credit/debit card abuse was reported to have occurred at a business on Lexington Dr. in Pinehurst.
March 11, a criminal trespass warning was issued to a black female who was suspected of shoplifting at a clothing store located in the 2200 block of MacArthur Dr.
March 12, a white male reported a private property hit and run accident that occurred in a parking lot in the 100 block of Strickland Dr. on March 8.
March 12, a 26 year-old white male identified as Derrick Alan Landry was arrested for public intoxication following a disturbance at a pharmacy in the 200 block of Strickland Dr.
March 17, a traffic accident was reported on Strickland Dr. and Martin.
March 17, a black female identified as 51 year-old Pauline Marie Woodson was arrested for outstanding warrants issued by the Orange and West Orange Municipal courts following a traffic stop in the 2300 block of MacArthur Dr.
March 19, an assault was reported in the 3300 block of W. Park.
March 19, a 22 year-old black male identified as Joshua Jarrell Turner, was arrested for outstanding warrants issued by the Orange Municipal Court and Justice of the Peace # 2 following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Strickland Dr.
March 19, a traffic accident was reported in the 2400 block of MLK Jr. Dr.
March 23, a white female reported that a family member used her name and date of birth when identifying herself to a Pinehurst Police Officer following a traffic stop. The suspect signed a traffic citation using the family members name and date of birth. The actor faces charges of Tampering with a Governmental Record, a felony punishable by up to two years in a state jail and a $10,000 fine.
