Four West Orange – Stark Middle School students earned first division ratings, the highest possible, at the Region X Texas Music Educators Association Solo & Ensemble Contest held recently in Lumberton.

Amber Nealy, Caitlin Bullington, Breanna Strand, and Dwuan Guidry earned gold medals at the event.

Ella Nace is the West Orange – Stark Middle School Band Director.
