Ruth Katherine (Barclay) Bradshaw, 84, passed away June 7, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care under the care of Altus Hospice. Ruth was born May 11, 1928 to Agnes and W.A. Barclay, Sr. She grew up in Big Sandy, then moved to Silsbee where she met and married her husband Robert "Burl" Bradshaw on Aug. 21, 1948.

Her favorite pastime was playing in her many bridge groups and volunteering at the Christian Care Center. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Silsbee.

Mrs. Bradshaw was preceded in death by husband, Burl Bradshaw, her parents, Agnes and W.A. Barclay, Sr. and her beloved sister, Mary Agnes Delaune.

She is survived by her three children, Karen Millett of Lewisville, Bridget Teaff and husband Ron of Orange, David Burl Bradshaw and wife Kim of Silsbee, and her devoted brother W.A. (Bill) Barclay, Jr. of Silsbee. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews she adored.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, June 10, at R.S. Farmer Funeral Home with internment following in R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will begin 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Care Center or First United Methodist Church of Silsbee.
