Preston Kuhn, 75, of Fannett, died on Saturday, June 23, at his residence. He was born on July 25, 1936, in Folsom, LA., to Ollie Vonadore Kuhn and Phillip Kuhn. Preston was a truck driver with Trimax Chemical for 30 years and received a Safety Award for driving three million miles with no accidents or tickets.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy Kuhn; sons, Ronald Kuhn, Dwayne Kuhn and his wife, Michelle, and Dale Kuhn and his wife, Melinda, all of Fannett; daughters, Sandra Cannon and her husband, Mike, of Orange, Tina Kuhn of Vidor, and Judy Smith of Paris; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Houston Kuhn of Pineland; sister, Norma Phillips of Folsom; and a host of relatives and friends.

Preston was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two sisters.

A gathering of Mr. Kuhn’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m. with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.

Interment will follow at Burrell Wingate Cemetery, Fannett.
