Kenneth Reedom, 94 of Orange, died June 26, at his residence after a short illness. He was a native of New Iberia, LA., and a resident of Orange, for 62 years. Mr. Reedom was a Army veteran where he served his country for many years.

He was ranked as a Staff Sergeant. He also was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as Sunday school Superintendent, choir member and other roles in church ministries.

Going home celebration will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Starlight Church of God in Christ, located at 2800 Bob Hall Road in Orange, with Pastor E.B. Lindsey Officiating.

Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Memorial Chapel.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Hazel Lee Reedom of Orange; two sons, Harold Ken Reedom of Beaumont, and Donald Keith Reedom of Arlington, TX.; three daughters, Anita Renae Smith of Orange, Retha Michelle King and Darlene Dumas both of Houston.

He also leaves behind 10 stepchildren, 39 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
