Cynthia “Nie-Nie” Hoffpauir, 47, of Mauriceville passed away at her home Wednesday, July 11. A funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Interment will follow at The Cemetery in Mauriceville.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hoffpauir was born June 10, 1965, to Paul and June (Trahan) Burch in Orange. She was a homemaker and a licensed cosmetologist. She enjoyed cooking, going to garage sales but most of all, she really loved being with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a loving, cheerful and vibrant person who never met a stranger.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bertha and Andrew Trahan and Bud and Mary Burch and sister, Sharron Renae Burch.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Eddie L. Hoffpauir, Jr. of Mauriceville; parents, Paul and June Burch of Livingston; sister, Tammy Baker and husband, Nate of Orange; brother, Paul Burch and life partner, John Gray of Orange; brother, David Burch and wife, Janet of Livingston; brother, Jeremy Welch; brother-in-law, Michael Hoffpauir and mother-in-law, Mary Stone.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Paul “Bubba” Baker III, Tamara Baker, David “Lil’ Dave” Burch Jr., Paul “Bud” Burch, Rebecca “Becca Boo” Roberts, Joseph “Joe Joe” Burch, Cody Hoffpauir and Kellie Redmon; eight great nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Bella.
