BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University football fans who can’t commit to an entire six-game season ticket plan, now have another choice. Actually, two other choices at three different price levels.

The Lamar athletic department announced a pair of three-game flex packs for the upcoming 2012 season on Wednesday. The flex packs will allow each fan to enjoy a reserved seat for a trio of games at Provost Umphrey Stadium this season for as low as $35.

The Big Red Package includes the home opener against Prairie View A&M at 7 p.m. Sept. 8, the 3 p.m. Sept. 29 game against Southland Conference foe Southeastern Louisiana and the Southland Conference game against national runner-up Sam Houston State at 3 p.m. Oct. 27.

The LU Package includes the 7 p.m. Sept. 22 clash with Langston, the homecoming game against McMurry at 3 p.m. Oct. 27 and the home finale against Southland Conference rival Nicholls at 3 p.m. Nov. 10.

There are three price levels for each package, beginning with seats in the White section for $35. Tickets in the Green section are $55, while tickets in the Red section are $75.

Season tickets, which start as low as $60, are still on sale.
