St. Mary Catholic School 8th grade students measured different items using different science tools during Mrs. Daphne McIntire’s Science Class. Some of the tools were a triple beam balance, tape measure, graduated cylinder, beaker, flask, thermometer, and spring scale. Students also calculated the volume of regular and irregular shapes, the circumference of an object, and density. Finally, students included a drawing showing how they measured an object and added tips of how to use the measurement tools properly.
