Orangefield fourth grade teacher Stefanie Goldsmith has been chosen by her colleagues as September’s Teacher of the Month at Orangefield Elementary School.

This is Ms. Goldsmith’s 15th year of teaching and her eighth year teaching in OISD.

Her favorite things about teaching are helping her students learn new things and watching them become proud of their accomplishments.

Aaron Miller, one of Ms. Goldsmith’s students, had this to say about her: “Ms. Goldsmith, oh, Ms. Goldsmith. You have the softest voice and the funniest jokes. You are nice and you wouldn’t hurt a fly. That’s why you are the teacher of the month.”

Another student, Erica Hollis, said, “Ms. Goldsmith probably got that award because she is very nice, awesome, always has humor, has manners, and she always does the right thing. She is awesome!”
