Grace Lutheran Church to celebrate National Model Railroad Month

Grace Lutheran Church in Orange will celebrate National Model Railroad month with a model train display at the church. The activity is sponsored by the Southeast Model Railroad Club and East Texas and Gulf Modelers Association.
Each Saturday in November there will be an open house from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, and the general public is invited to enjoy model trains running on various layouts. There will be passenger and freight trains running on all the layouts.
Saturday, Nov. 24, three other locations in the Golden Triangle will open their homes and train layouts. Directions to the other displays will be handed out. Also on Nov. 24, the Lego train will be on display at Grace Lutheran Church.
The dates for the open house are Nov. 3, 10, 17, and Nov. 24, the Houston Model Railroad Fall Tour, with trains at Grace Lutheran Church, Beaumont, Groves and Pineland.
