Ray Post, 79, of Vidor died Sunday, Nov. 18, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Ray was a native of Beaumont, and was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Ray was a retired process operator at Texaco Refinery in Port Arthur and was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. He served his country in the US Army.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, Nov. 21, at First Baptist Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Lillian Post and brother Wayne Post.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Post; sons, David Post and his wife Carol of Orange, and Jay Post and his wife Tammy, of Vidor; daughters, Cindy Brown and her husband Don of Bakersfield, CA., and Rhonda Powell and her husband Jim of Vidor; brothers, Charles Post of Liberty, Larry and George Post both of Wildwood, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren
