LCM Life Skills hosts annual Bear Bowl Game

Little Cypress-Mauriceville Life Skills is proud to announce their Third Annual Bear Bowl Game, which will be held on Dec. 10. The Bear Bowl is a flag football game with Varsity players teaming up with Team Force players, the name the LCM HS students compete under in all of their Special Olympics games.

For the first two years, the Bears competed against more Bears, since none of the other schools in this area had a flag football team. This year it will be the Battlin’ Bears against the Bobcats from Orangefield High School.

The game will be played at Battlin’ Bears Stadium, 7327 Highway 87 North, in Orange. Pre-game begins at 5:30 p.m. and kick off is at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free and the community is encouraged to attend and pull for all of the students taking part in the game.

For additional information, contact Terrie Parker at [email protected], or 409-886-5821, extension 1560.
