Mauriceville Middle School students participated in Operation Christmas Child Samaritan’s Purse. Ashley Thomas, who student taught with Kaycie Donnaud, led the project and included Kaycie Donnaud’s advisory class, Lainey Hargroder’s advisory and P.E. classes, as well as other MMS students.

Through this project, needy children will experience a Christmas that they would otherwise not receive. MMS mailed 12 packed shoe boxes, full to the brim, with school supplies, toiletries and small toys for girls and boys ranging in age from two to 14.

According to Donnaud, “Mauriceville Middle School students have learned a valuable lesson this Christmas season; a lesson in giving to others without expectation of return.”
