The Bridge City High School Student Council attended the TASC D17 Spring Convention held Wednesday, Feb. 20. Students met with other student leaders across the region and were trained and inspired to be better leaders. BCHS will be recognized at the State Convention in April as a Sweepstakes School-completing projects in Energy and Environment, DASH, Community Service, Pride and Patriotism, and completing forms as an Outstanding Student Council.

Scholarships were awarded to Seniors Zach Cole ($1000) and Haydin Oceguera ($1200) in recognition of their service to their school through student council over the last four years. BCHS is proud to be a part of the Texas Association of Student Councils and look forward to continuing to provide opportunities for student leaders to shine.
