The Lamar University soccer program is offering a two-day, soccer-oriented, Spring Break Soccer Camp for boys and girls, kindergarten through 8th grades, March 14 -15, 9 a.m. through 12 p.m. The camp allows children the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of soccer as well as advanced techniques from both the coaches and players of the Lamar soccer program. A special goalkeeper option is available for those interested in that position-specific training.

Members of the Texas Strikers Professional Indoor Soccer team will be making autograph appearances. “Lamar soccer camps provide a challenging, yet fun environment for each player to develop and maximize his or her potential,” said Orlando Cervantes, head soccer coach.

The camp will cost $75 per camper. A $10 family discount is available for each additional sibling, and $10 per player team discount will be available for groups of 10 or more.
