BCCC names Philpot Employee of the Month
The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce presented Clarence Philpot as the Employee of the Month at their monthly Networking Coffee hosted by Kirk’s on 87 located at 4645 South Highway 87 in Bridge City, Texas.
Clarence has been employed by the City of Bridge City as Code Enforcer for more than twenty years and was nominated for his reliability, dependability and commitment to providing the best quality work for the city. He has set high standards for himself as well as his vendor’s and individuals who know him. He is detail oriented and goes above and beyond the call of duty to assist the Bridge City agencies and citizens of the community. As the Street Department Superintendent, he has taken a leading role in making sure schedule assignments are accurate and complete. Clarence has the utmost respect from his colleagues as well as the community as he always displays an extremely positive “can do” attitude.
Clarence received a plaque, sponsored by David Self Ford, honoring him as the Employee of the Month as well as gift certificates to The Record Newspaper, Geaux Mail, Luv Lingerie, DuPuis Tire and Service Center, Sonic Drive-In, Total Impressions Salon, Peggy’s on the Bayou, Trendz, Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Bridge City and David Self Ford.
Bridge City Chamber Ambassador Lucy Fields presented Clarence Philpot with the Employee of the Month award. Philpot is the Code Enforcer for the city of Bridge City.
