At approximately 2:45 am this morning, there was a one vehicle crash on Wheeler Road in Hardin County that killed all three occupants of the vehicle.

A 1999 GMC truck was traveling westbound on Wheeler Road. The driver left the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle continued off the roadway and struck several trees. The driver, 44 year old Jesse Thomas of Lumberton, was pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Simpson. Both passengers, 20 year old Slayder Morris of Vidor and 20 year old Dylan Avery of Lumberton were also pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Simpson. All occupants of the vehicle were not restrained by seatbelts.

This crash is still under investigation and details will be released as it becomes available.
