Dewaine E. Loomis, 65, of Vidor died Wednesday, May 15, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Bergeron, MI., he has lived in Vidor for 25 plus years. Dewaine was a switchman with Econorail, and was a member of the NRA.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Dewaine was preceded in death by his parents Burton and Rose Loomis; sisters Carol Fleming, Lynette Smith, Charolette Loomis, and Gayle Loomis.

Dewaine is survived by his wife Mary Ann Loomis of Vidor; sons Dewaine Loomis of Blountstown, FL., Danny Loomis of Fountain, FL.; step-son David I. Mayo of Vidor; daughters Dawn Graves of Aurora, CO., Debbie Reyolds of Blountstown, and Deana Chastain of Two Egg, FL.; brothers Larry Loomis of Oscoda, MI., David Loomis of Greenbay, WI., Carlton Loomis of Oscoda, Lou Dinnan of Iron River, WI., and Edward Dinnan of Oscoda; sisters Cathy McCarthy of Oscoda, and Laura Lee McCord of Twas, MI., and 18 grandchildren.
