Charles G. Wileman, Jr., 76, of Vidor died Saturday, May 18, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Williamsport, PA., Charles has lived in Vidor for 38 years, and was a retired pipefitter, with Bethlehem Steel. Charles served his country retiring after 20 years in the United States Navy, including three tours during the Vietnam War.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Charles was preceded in death by his first wife Ruth Wileman; son Charles Wayne Wileman; parents Charles Grover Wileman, Sr.; and Marion Lutz Wileman; grandparents Tyson and Lizzie Wileman, and Theodore and Catherine Lutz; and infant brother Kenneth Wileman.

He is survived by his wife Mary Wileman of Vidor; sister Peggy Kinney of Williamsport; niece Stephanie Hostrander and husband Mark of Reading, PA.; nephew Tom Kinney and wife Teresa of Williamsport; great nephews Brian Kinney of Williamsport; Steven and Jared Hostrander of Reading; and great niece Alecia Pricher of South Williamsport.

The family would like to acknowledge the years of excellent care by Drs. K. Paul Gerstenberg, and Ferris Zabad. Thanks also to the staffs of St. Mary's Hospital in Port Arthur, and Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, with special thanks to Nicole McGowan, and Linda Bennett.
