Body of man found in Neches River identified

Monday, June 25, at approximately 9:08 am, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Marine Division recovered the body of a man who had previously been reported missing. The body was found in the Neches River, near Collier's Ferry Park. Edras Auillo Rios, 36, of Beaumont had been missing since Sunday, when he went swimming with friends.
Rios is a Guatemalan national who had been residing in Beaumont.
