LIT has last orientation session on Aug. 12

BEAUMONT – First-time students at Lamar Institute of Technology have one last chance to attend orientation for new students for the Fall 2013 semester.
The final orientation session is scheduled for 3-6 p.m. on Aug. 12 at the Multi-Purpose Center.
Prospective students will hear general information on LIT, financial aid, and distance education.
Those who attend also have the opportunity to meet program directors and to be advised for the Fall semester. In order to get the most out of the session, attendees should have applied and been accepted to LIT, and completed their placement testing.
