CYNTHIA E. BAILEY

Cynthia E. Bailey, 59, of Groves formerly of Bridge City, died Friday September 20, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Nederland TX surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 10 1953 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Taft Renshaw and Opal Capps. She was a resident of Longview TX during her youth and was raised by her grandparents Pearl & Ernie Murray where she met her Kindred Spirit and lifelong love, Gary Howell

Cynthia had a kind and giving soul. Her enthusiasm for life and personality made her one of a kind. She never met a stranger and always lit up a room. She was a speed enthusiast and since she was a child raced motorcycles and drag cars and love her Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Cynthia loved the wind on her hair and rock n roll playing in her ear. Her biggest joy in life was her three grandchildren Bailey Turner, Kenneth Richardson, & Kohen Richardson. She retired from constriction with Turner Industries Group in 2003.

Cynthia is survived by her only daughter, Natalie Richardson; son-in-law, Jay Richardson, both of Nederland; granddaughter, Bailey Turner (12); grandsons, Kenneth (4) & Kohen (3) Richardson all of Nederland; life long love, Gary Howell of Longview, TX; brother, Dale Renshaw of Kilgore, TX; brother, Daniel Renshaw & Sister-In-Law Sheila Renshaw of Arnaudville, LA.; Sister, Gloria Hartsfield Crochet & Brother-In-Law Dave Crochet of Bossier, LA; 11 Nieces, 5 Nephews, 15 great nieces, & 13 great nephews; very dear and longtime friends, Penny Harrison, Patty Uptigrove, Patty James, Stacy Bourque, Juanita Martin, and Gwen Stewart all of Southeast TX and Gwen Nevilles of Longview, TX; and many more loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Taft Renshaw; mother, Opal Capps; grandmother, Pearl Murray and grandfather, Ernie Murray; sister, Deborah Vercher; brother, Mike Renshaw; brother, Ronald D. Renshaw; sister, Rebecca Smith; brother, Keith Hartsfield; and sister, Valerie Renshaw.

A gathering of Cynthia’s family will be from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. and for friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, TX. Her funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to assist with expenses may be made to Capital One Bank, 2950 Hwy 365, Nederland, Texas 77627, where an account has been established in Cynthia Bailey’s name.
