Mauriceville Elementary Student Council Officers recently attended the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Associationlink (TEPSA) Leaders “R” Us Student Council Workshop in Crosby, Texas. Students attended sessions to learn what it means to be a leader, ideas for leading, responsibilities of their officer positions and, as with all Student Council activities, they learned some very interesting silly songs.

MVE Officers were able to meet other Student Council Officers to share and discuss the many things they have done and plan to do in the future. Student Council Advisors also attended sessions and returned with new ideas on activities and community service projects. Mary Kay Berndt is the MVE Student Council Advisor
