LIT offers Spring registration

Lamar Institute of Technology will continue registration for the 16-week Spring semester through Friday, Jan. 17.
The Spring semester begins Monday, Jan. 13. Potential students must apply and be accepted to LIT before registering for classes. Applications are available on the LIT campus, on www.lit.edu, or by visiting www.applyTexas.org/.
Students may also register for the Spring two semester, which begins Jan. 13 and ends on March 4, through Wednesday, Jan. 15.
All first-time or transfer students who are younger than 22 are required to provide proof of a bacterial meningitis vaccination. The vaccination must have been obtained 10 days prior to the beginning of the semester.
LIT also offers other entry points into the Spring semester.
The Late Start 12-week semester begins Feb. 11, and offers classes to give students a good head start on their way to a college degree. Last class day for the Late Start is May 6.
The Spring three semester begins March 5 and ends May 1.
Students may continue to register for the Late Start and Spring three semesters until the day before each one begins.
