A&M Green Thumb series offered
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is holding the next Green Thumb Series. This series is about keeping your plants healthy.
The topics that will be covered include weeds, beneficial insects and insect pests, other healthy challenges in the environment, fungal diseases in plants, and integrated pest management and pesticide uses.
Seven CEU’s for pesticide license holders, including hours in Integrated Pest Management, are possible if all classes are attended. The dates for these classes are: May 20, May 27, June 3, June 10 (These dates are changed from April 15, April 22, May 6, and May 13 due to conflicts in schedules).
The location is in the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office in the Orange County Convention and Expo Center and the fee is $30 for the entire series. Please call the extension office if you are interested or have questions at 882-7010 so we can plan for the class materials.
