Thursday, a fugitive task force located and arrested the third suspect in the musder of Kevin Alton Moyer, 53, of Dallas. On a Crime Stoppers Tip, Cody Lewis, 27, of Beaumont was apprehended at approximately 7 p.m. in Pennington, Texas.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office was assisted by US Marshal’s Service, Beaumont PD, Texas Department of Public Safety, Office of Inspector General, Trinity County SO, Trinity County District attorney’s Office, Groveton PD and Nacogdoches PD

Acting on the tip, deputies located fugitive, Cody Lewis, who ran from a residence into a wooded area. After a short search, Lewis was taken into custody without incident. Deputies are currently pursuing the charge of Harboring a Fugitive against several family members and friends that have assisted Cody Lewis in hiding from law enforcement over the past two weeks.

A warrant had previously been issued by Judge Beaulieu on Cody Lewis for the charge of Tampering with Physical evidence in reference to the incident with Mr. Moyer and later upgraded the charge to Murder. Moyer, who was killed on South China Road, was positively identified by the medical examiner via dental records.

Two other arrests were made on Saturday, April 5. The suspects in custody are: Arthur Christopher Harmon, 21, and Yiannis Nikolaos Mihail, 31, both of Beaumont. They were charged with Murder and issued a $1,000,000 bond.
