Laura Belle "Tot" Rainbolt

Laura Belle "Tot" Rainbolt, 84 of Vidor, died June 2, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Known for her delicious home cooking and an elegant, stylish sense of dress, Tot had a warm, infectious personality that left all friends and strangers comfortable in her presence.

Tot was born July 30, 1929 to Preston Grant "Pug" and Hasseltine Williamson. A longtime member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor, Tot was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Rainbolt; sisters Claudine Thomas, and Reba "Pitter" Glover, and brother Allen "Fit" Williamson.

Survivors include daughter Rhonda Doucet and husband Bud of Bridge City; son Tommy Rainbolt, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Austin; daughter Kathy Floyd and husband Allen of Houston; son Tim Rainbolt and wife Tammy; daughter Tina Rainbolt Ledesma; brother-in-law Will Glover; sister-in-law Betty Williamson; son-in-law Rudy Ledesma; niece Evelyn Sharpe and husband Bud; niece Cheryl Robertson and husband Marv; nephews Dale Lynn Sharpe and Allen Williamson; longtime friend Adair Luker, of Vidor. Surviving grandchildren include Joanna Floyd, Kathleen Kopp, Taylor Rainbolt, Trey Rainbolt, Justine Ledesma, Travis Doucet, and Tracie Stephens.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with a visitation being held Wednesday, June 4, from 6:00 - 900 pm, at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 5, at 2:00 pm at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Internment to follow at Williamson Cemetery, in Vidor.
