A Bridge City man pleaded guilty Friday to six counts of sexual assault of a child. Joshua Luke McDonald, 36, is the former youth pastor of Common Ground Community Church, and First Baptist Church, both in Bridge City.

After being accused of having sexual relations with two young victims under the age of 17, over a two year period, McDonald was jailed and held on a $60,000 bond; $10,000 for each charge.

McDonald is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 11, in the 128th District Court.
