Saturday, July 26, Orange police responded to a call regarding a man who was possibly suicidal. Upon arrival, police met with Michael White, who is listed as a transient.

White told police that he was in possession of synthetic marijuana, and that the substance and a pipe were in his pants pocket. When officers asked White if he wished to harm himself, he told them he didn't, that he just said that to get the police to his location. He also advised that he knew he had been smoking too much marijuana lately, and he knew he had a problem. He stated he wanted to go to jail to get help for narcotic abuse.

White was placed into custody for possession of a controlled substance, and transported to the Orange County Jail.
