LC-M to offer free and reduced price meals

Beginning Aug. 1, LCM CISD will begin distributing applications for free and reduced price meals. Applications are also available at each school office, as well as the district's central office.

The criteria for meal benefits include household income, SNAP or TANF programs; Food distribution program on Indian reservations.

Also included in this criteria is a child's status as a foster child, runaway, homeless, migrant or displaced by a declared disaster, and the child's enrollment in Head Start, or Even Start.

For those households that qualify for free or reduced price meals based on income, an adult in the household must fill out an application and return it to Jewel Chaddrick, 6586 FM 1130, Orange, Tx. 77630.

Applicants must provide names of all household members; amount, frequency and source of current income for each household member; last four digits of the social security number of the adult who signs the application, or they have no social security number, check the box "I do not have a social security number."

Signature of an adult household member attesting that the information provided is correct.
