Freshman Parent Meeting

Freshman Parent Meeting Thursday, Aug. 7, at 5:30 PM in the Orangefield High School cafeteria. Call 735- 3851 for more information.

Meet the Teacher

Orangefield ISD will host Meet the Teacher at Orangefield Elementary, Orangefield Junior High & Orangefield High School on Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. Student class schedules will be available for pick up at the Junior High and High School. Parking passes for high school students will be available as well.

Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to deposit money in their students’ lunch accounts on all three campuses. Spirit and other school items will be available for purchase.

Registration

Registration for students new to OISD will take place on individual campuses during the next two weeks. The following documents are required for registering new students: proof of residency (most recent water, electric or gas bill), records from previous school (preferably most recent report card), immunization records, birth certificate and/or social security card, and copy of a parent/guardian’s valid driver’s license.

Registration is currently underway at Orangefield High School during these dates and times:

August 6-8: 8:00 AM-11:00 AM, and 1:00 PM-3:00 PM

August 11: 1 PM-3 PM

August 12-19: 8AM-11AM & 1PM-3PM

August 21-22: 8AM-11AM & 1PM-3PM

We encourage parents/guardians to register students prior to first day of school, Aug. 25, for scheduling purposes.

Football Tickets

Football tickets are on sale through Aug. 8 for prior season ticket holders. Season tickets are available for purchase for new ticket holders from Aug. 11-22. Individual game day tickets are sold the week of the game at the Orangefield Athletic Field House. For more information, call 735-4504.

Meet the Bobcats

Meet the Bobcats is scheduled for Friday, August 22 at 6:30 PM at the Orangefield High School new gymnasium. All parents, guardians, students, and community members are invited to attend this event to meet our 2014 Bobcats.

The first day of school is Monday, August 25.
