AMSET to hold annual gala
The Art Museum of Southeast Texas (AMSET) invites Southeast Texans to shine like a precious jewel at its 27th anniversary gala, The Crystal Ball: A Night of Sparkling Entertainment, at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5. This dazzling affair will be overflowing with cocktails, delectable dining, fabulous entertainment and many spectacular surprises.
The Crystal Ball will honor celebrated sculptor and supporter of the arts, David Cargill. Chaired by Bedazzler Extraordinaire Albert Nolen with our twinkling underwriting chairs Sandy and Joseph Fertitta, attendees will join Honorary Chair, Joy Crenshaw for AMSET’s greatest party of the year.
“No matter how you cut it, The Crystal Ball will be the most impressive event this community has ever seen, full of glitz, glitter and sparkle,” said Gala 2014 Chair Albert Nolen. “This gala is the evening that everyone has been anticipating all summer long, giving Southeast Texans a chance to celebrate the life and work of renowned artist David Cargill, while most importantly, supporting their local art museum.”
