Anna Joan Hodges, 64, of Silsbee, died Monday, Aug. 18. She was born on Dec. 25, 1949, in Beaumont, to Vera Mae Brasher Work and Carter Hart Work.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Hodges of Silsbee; children, Tim Hodges and wife, Crystal, of Orange, and Lindsey Hodges of Silsbee; grandchildren, Blake Hodges, Shawn Hodges, Dylan Sanford, Allysa Sanford, and Kenleigh Jeselink; siblings, Sue Lindeman and husband, Kenneth, of Silsbee; Pat Work and wife, Nell, of Kountze; Jimmy Paul Work of Kountze; and David Work and wife, Donna, of Lufkin; and a very special niece, Lauren Work of Kountze.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Mike Work and Kenny Work.

A gathering of Mrs. Hodges’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 21, at Broussard's, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Aug. 22, at New Covenant Assembly of God, Silsbee, with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
