Get a sitter, call a friend and make a date to spend an exciting evening at Night at the Museum: Glazed presented by Stark Museum of Art in Orange, Friday, Nov. 14, 8:00 – 11:00 pm.

Night at the Museum is designed for adults 21 and older to experience art after dark, and this event features live music by popular local entertainment, interactive and hands-on art activities. Get a taste of the Texas art scene with pottery demonstrations, and explore the Collection of the Stark Museum of Art in a new way with a text message scavenger hunt. Event-goers can go on a docent-led tour, enjoy free food and free soft drinks, and a cash bar will be open.

The event’s theme, Glazed, coincides with the Museum’s newest loaned exhibition, Women, Art, & Social Change: The Newcomb Pottery Enterprise. Guests will have the chance to view this special exhibition, create their own ceramics to take home and see significant art of the American West. The exhibit is organized by the Newcomb Art Gallery and Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and supported by grants from the Henry Luce Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.

There is a $15 cover charge, and only adults age 21 and older will be admitted.
