The Texas Military Honors Team, of Groves, is hosting a mystery dinner theater fund raiser to raise money to outfit local military veterans who participate in military funerals.

The fundraiser will be held Friday, Oct. 17, at the Bob Bower Civic Center, 3401 Cultural Center Dr., in Port Arthur. Doors will open at 4:00 pm., and showtime will be at 6:30 pm.

Catering will be provided by Van Choate of the Hush Puppy Industrial Catering Co., of Port Arthur. The Orange Community Players will present "Murder at Cafe' Noir." The public is invited to attend, and are encouraged to wear 1940's garb.

Tickets are available for $50, and veteran's tickets are $40. Tickets may be purchased by calling Pamla Vincent at 549-1210.

Sponsorship tables are also available. Businesses are welcome to purchase either foyer displays for $75, and or table displays for $35. There will be door prizes and a silent auction.

The Texas Military Honors Team participates in veteran funerals by posting colors, rifle salutes to the deceased and by performing Taps for the deceased veteran.
