The Judice name will soon be making its way to Bridge City. Al Judice, Jr. (aka Little Al) finalized his purchase of the old Gary's Coffee Shop, located at 2045 Texas Ave., Tuesday, Oct. 7. Judice said that he is revamping the building throughout, and has tentative plans to open in a couple months. He says he is giving the inside of the building a "Cajun/New Orleans" style ambiance.

Judice's Cajun Cafe's hours of operation will be 6:00 am - 8:00 pm, seven days a week, where he will be serving traditional breakfast items from the menu. There will also be a steam table lunch available each day, to include a main course, such as smothered pork chops, and oxtail, as well as fried chicken, fish, ribs and brisket. Sides will be served as well as the main course items. The steam table will only be available for lunch.

Judice said there will be several items to choose from on the menu if the steam table isn't your style. These items will include the famous Judice hamburgers, fried shrimp, boudain and cracklins, etouffe' and other home cooked Cajun cuisine.

Judice also has plans to have a price point to include a meat, two sides and a drink at lunch for $10. Fridays will include an all seafood steam table, with seafood gumbo; but other days in the week will always find chicken/sausage gumbo available.

Judice says he wants this cafe' to have a family atmosphere like the other Judice's locations on 7th St. in Port Arthur, and Larry's French Market in Groves.
